Our latest new squat practice was delivered in Bexleyheath in Kent, this unique project challenged us to convert an old NHS facility into a stunning new 3 surgery practice with a modern, contemporary finish throughout. The Dentalbuild team worked with the client in terms of the internal design to deliver a top end boutique style practice complete with a stylish yet fully compliant DDA toilet, CBCT Room and Decontamination facility.
The building had been unoccupied for a number of years, the practice was re plastered throughout and new modern LED lighting and feature lighting installed to create a warm welcome and bring light into what was a previously dark and worn-down building. The build came with many challenges, all that were overcome, mainly the fact the premises had no mains water throughout the process and despite these hurdles the practice was delivered on time and in budget much to the delight of the fantastic management team at GM Dental.
This project was delivered alongside Simon Hemstead at Henry Schein (cabinetry and equipment) and project managed by Dentalbuild. Its another shining example of how an old building in a bad state of repair can be bought back to life and turned into a stunning new dental practice, without having to break the bank. The practice opened its doors in May 2024.
